Attorney Participated As A Panelist At The 83rd Annual Convention Of The National Conference Of Bankruptcy Judges
MIAMI – October 29, 2009 – Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A. is pleased to announce that attorney Monique D. Hayes participated as a panelist for the 83rd Annual Convention of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges. The topic was "(Almost) Everything You Wanted to Know About...Getting Retained." The Panel was sponsored by the American Bar Association's Business Bankruptcy Committee. The program commenced on October 18, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In conjunction with the Annual Conference, Ms. Hayes was also invited by the NCBJ/NBA Liaison Committee to participate in a panel discussion on current bankruptcy issues from the perspectives of seasoned bankruptcy judges and attorneys representing debtors and creditors. The discussion was held at the University of Nevada, William S. Boyd Law School on October 19, 2009.
Monique D. Hayes practices in the area of bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hayes served as law clerk to the Bankruptcy Judge Laurel Myerson Isicoff and was a staff attorney at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., where she practiced in the area of consumer housing litigation representing low income clients in landlord/tenant disputes and consumer bankruptcy proceedings. She earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of South Florida.
