Darci E. Cohen practices in the areas of commercial litigation, employment law, franchise law, land use, and governmental law. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked at a commercial litigation and maritime law firm and spent a summer as a fellow for the Child Advocacy Project representing children in the delinquency and dependency system. She also helped oversee the national launch of an innovative holistic healthcare company as its marketing manager.
Cohen is the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Liaison to the Forum on Franchising. She is also a member of the Jewish Federation Network Board, an attorney ad litem for Lawyers for Children America, and serves on the Miami-Dade United Way Health Impact Council.
Cohen is a member of The Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida. She received her juris doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as an articles and comments editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, was a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board, and a fellow for the Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program (PREP). While in law school, she was a quarterfinalist and Best Party Brief Winner at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. She also presented various CLE trainings at local law firms and bar associations on trending ethical issues. Cohen earned her bachelor of science in advertising, magna cum laude, from the University of Florida.
