Al Maloof is the Managing Director of GJB Consulting LLC (GJB), an affiliate of Genovese, Joblove Battista PA law firm. GJB provides public policy, procurement and government relations guidance for corporations, institutions, associations and individuals.

Mr. Maloof currently serves on the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority. Mr. Maloof previously received a gubernatorial appointment to evaluate the operations and structure of the Florida Department of Transportation. He has an extensive academic record which includes service in numerous positions, including a management level internship in Miami-Dade County. There, he worked in the Office of Performance Improvement implementing best-practices and efficiency programs. Also, at the state level, Mr. Maloof was selected by Florida's leaders to help develop public policy to advance the multi-billion dollar Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient, Transportation, Equity Act, A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU) Transportation Reauthorization Act. He was also appointed by the former Secretary of Transportation to serve along with the Assistant Secretary to serve on the 2025 Florida Transportation Plan Steering Committee.

Mr. Maloof received a state cabinet level appointment to serve on an Insurance Guaranty Association, serving as Vice Chairman and later served with Florida's Insurance Commissioner on the Florida Comprehensive Health Association established to serve high risk patients. Mr. Maloof was previously appointed by then Miami Dade County Mayor to serve on the County's only quasi-judicial law enforcement board, serving as board member, then as Chairman. He was also appointed by the County Commission to serve on the Planning Advisory Board, the regions statutory local planning agency, and served as its Chairman. He also served on the County's Elder Long-Term Care Task Force, the Countywide Incorporation & Annexation Committees, and in other prominent positions. Mr. Maloof is also a member of numerous community and not-for-profit organizations and has served on various public and private boards over the last 20 years. He is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Chairman's Circle, President's Club and is Vice Chair of the Advocacy Group, which oversees local, state and federal Advocacy Committees which provide government relations to the Chamber and its members. He is an active member of the American Public Transportation Association as well as the Design-Build Institute of America. Mr. Maloof is a scholar of government, concentrating his focus on operations and performance efficiency. He is not a member of the Bar, frequently works on local, state and federal initiatives and campaigns, and is an advisor to numerous appointed and elected officeholders.
