GJB encourages its attorneys to support diversity initiatives at all levels. The firm supports its attorneys who provide pro bono legal services, which includes participating in Put Something Back of Miami-Dade County and counsel to The Heiken Children's Vision, a charity providing eye care to Miami-Dade County school children. Additionally, another attorney at GJB volunteers by tutoring for the Dade County Bar Association Minority Passage Program.
GJB attorneys have also been active members for numerous civic and non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the United Way . Further, the firm has been an annual sponsor of the Broward Gold Coast Down Syndrome Buddy Walk, which celebrates Down syndrome awareness. Additionally, a member the firm sits on the Board for Help, Inc., South Florida 's only full service free legal clinic for indigent persons living with HIV/AIDS.
