Barry P. Gruher specializes in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation in state and federal district courts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, business reorganization, creditor workouts and creditors/debtor rights. Mr. Gruher has experience in representing debtors, creditors and trustees in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Mr. Gruher has extensive experience in representing debtors, creditors and trustees in adversary proceedings involving objections to discharge, dischargeability of debts, fraudulent transfers, preferences and related bankruptcy litigation. In addition, his practice also focuses on appeals, general corporate, real estate and transactional matters.

He has previously served on the Local Rules Committee for Chapter 7 cases for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida. Mr. Gruher is an active member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida, Palm Beach County Bar Association and Business Law Section of the Florida Bar.

Mr. Gruher is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Gruher earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1992 from the University of Miami School of Law and Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences Degree from the University of Florida in 1988
