Mr. Frank Massabki concentrates his practice primarily on complex civil and criminal litigation in both federal and state court. His commercial practice is focused on contract disputes, business torts, securities fraud, franchise disputes, real estate, condominium matters, labor/employment, class action, bankruptcy, and receivership litigation. In the criminal law context, he has represented corporate and individual clients in a broad array of white collar matters, including government investigations, fraud, securities, money-laundering, drug smuggling, human trafficking, forfeitures, compliance, RICO, and espionage.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Massabki served as in-house counsel of a start-up distilled spirits company and, prior to that, as an associate at a leading national litigation boutique, where he was a member of the firm's commercial litigation, white collar criminal litigation, complex civil litigation, and healthcare practice groups. Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Massabki has observed political elections in Central Asia as a delegate of the U.S. State Department, and drafted legal assessments for the American Bar Association in
Mr. Massabki is very active in the community. He represents indigent criminal defendants as a court-appointed attorney under the Criminal Justice Act, engages in pro bono work on behalf of abused and neglected children through Lawyers for Children America and Put Something Back, serves as a guest judge for statewide and national mock trial competitions, and actively supports many other nonprofit and community-based organizations.
