Jesus M. Suarez practices in the area of bankruptcy, creditor's rights and commercial litigation. Mr. Suarez often represents bankruptcy trustees and creditors in litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Suarez served as a staff member and law clerk to the Florida House of Representatives. Mr. Suarez has co-authored an interim project report, Developing and Financing the Florida Department of Transportation's Five Year Work Program, on the behalf of the Committee on Infrastructure, which was published by the Florida House of Representatives. Mr. Suarez is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Suarez received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 2008. While attending law school, he was as a research assistant for the Law & Policy in the Americas Program, a member of the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team and the Volunteer Income Tax Clinic. Mr. Suarez was also inducted into Florida Blue Key in the spring of 2007. Mr. Suarez earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago, where he majored in finance and international business. He is an alumnus of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.
