Jorge L. Martinez practices in the area of general commercial litigation, including franchise litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Martinez was the managing attorney for the Miami office of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, where, among other responsibilities, he was responsible for prosecuting claims against local and national commercial car rental and vehicle leasing companies. He also has experience in construction litigation and personal injury defense.

Mr. Martinez is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 2003, where he was a professor's assistant for legal writing and appellate advocacy. In addition, he clerked for the Honorable Manuel A. Crespo of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and the Appellate Division of the Eighth Judicial Circuit. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Florida International University, where he majored in Mass Communications.
