Ms. Marilee A. Mark concentrates her practice on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, with particular emphasis on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, the representation of Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, committees of unsecured creditors, Chapter 7 panel trustees, and judgment creditors. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Mark was an associate at Kluger, Perez, Kaplan & Berlin, P.L., where she represented bankruptcy trustees, creditors' committees, debtors, and creditors in all phases of bankruptcy. Ms. Mark is an active member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida, American Bar Association, Broward County Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association. Ms. Mark is a member of the Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. She received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Mark was a member of Florida Law Review and Journal of Law and Public Policy. Additionally, she was a teaching assistant for the Levin College of Law Legal Research and Writing department and was a recipient of the Dean's Certificate of Achievement Award in Mergers & Acquisitions and the C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Award in Real Estate Transactions. Ms. Mark was also a Judicial Clerk Extern to the Honorable Caryn Canner Schwartz, Dade County Court Judge, Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Ms. Mark earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business, where she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
