Michael Joblove Speaks at the International Franchise Association’s Legal Task Force Symposium
MIAMI, FL – June 5, 2008 - Michael Joblove, a founding shareholder of Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A., spoke on “The 5 Most Frequently Filed Lawsuits Against Franchisors and How to Avoid Them,” at the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Legal Task Force Symposium. The event was held on May 11-13, 2008, in Washington, DC.
Mr. Joblove leads the firm’s commercial litigation practice, which focuses on franchise, real estate, employment and securities litigation. He specializes in franchise, real estate and general commercial litigation. Mr. Joblove is a lecturer before the American Bar Association and International Franchise Association on franchise law topics, and is on the advisory board of the International Franchise Association Supplier Forum. He recently co-authored the Annual Franchise and Distribution Law Developments book, published by the American Bar Association, and has published articles on franchise law for the National Law Journal, New York Law Journal, Franchise Times and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Joblove was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1982 and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida in the same year. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University in 1979.
