Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A. Announces The Addition Of Juan A. Fernandez-Barquin As Of Counsel

Miami, FL – October, 2019 – Genovese Joblove & Battista, P.A. is pleased to announce that State Representative Juan A. Fernandez-Barquin has joined the firm as of counsel in the Miami office. His areas of focus will include commercial litigation, real estate litigation and real estate transactions.

Fernandez-Barquin is the Representative for House District 119. He currently serves on the Business & Professions Subcommittee, Children, Families & Seniors Subcommittee, Criminal Justice Subcommittee, Justice Appropriations Subcommittee and Judiciary Committee, and the Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice.

Fernandez-Barquin has extensive trial experience in both criminal and civil matters, ranging from real estate to racketeering. Prior to joining the firm, Fernandez-Barquin was an associate at Lydecker Diaz and an assistant public defender for the Office of the Public Defender in Palm Beach County.

Fernandez-Barquin is a member of the Florida, District of Columbia, and New York Bars. He received his juris doctor from American University Washington College of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University.
