Joyce A. Delgado

Joyce A. Delgado practices in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and white collar litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Delgado gained experience at Wicker, Smith, O'Hara, McCoy & Ford, P.A., where she represented clients in a wide variety of litigation matters including complex commercial and business disputes, products liability, insurance coverage, and malpractice.

Delgado is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Bankruptcy Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Prior to attending law school, she served as a Legislative Scholar for the Florida House of Representatives during the 2013 session.

Delgado is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She received her juris doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2017, where she served as vice president of the Florida Moot Court Team, a teaching assistant in Trial Practice, and as a senior editor for the Levin College of Law's first Spanish legal journal.

Also, while in law school, Delgado was the American Bankruptcy Institute's 25th Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Competition winner and received an award for outstanding brief. Delgado received first place & Outstanding Brief Award at the Cristal, Kahn, & Paskay Regional Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, and Best Oralist Award at the Zimmerman, Kiser, & Sutcliffe Final Four Moot Court Competition. She was a recipient of the Justice Campbell Thornal Scholarship and the Raymond F. Maguire Scholarship.

Delgado earned her bachelor of science degree in legal studies and international affairs, cum laude, from University of Central Florida in 2014.
