Glenn D. Moses specializes in all areas of complex commercial bankruptcy, business restructuring, and insolvency matters including related litigation. He represents Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, official committees of unsecured creditors, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees, liquidating trusts, DIP Lenders and secured creditors, commercial landlords, equity interest holders, strategic investors, and purchasers of assets from bankruptcy estates. Glenn has substantial experience in litigating a wide variety of bankruptcy related claims at both the trial and appellate levels, including avoidance litigation and fraud claims. He also has significant experience in representing franchisors in numerous franchisee bankruptcies throughout the country.
Glenn holds an “AV Preeminent” peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability. Glenn is consistently recognized as being among The Best Lawyers in America. He also has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Florida Super Lawyer, a “Top Lawyer” by South Florida Legal Guide, and one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” by Florida Trend.
Glenn has lectured on variety of bankruptcy-related topics for the American Bar Association and International Franchise Association. In addition, Glenn has written extensively for the ABA’s Forum on Franchising, including on the issues of mergers and acquisitions of franchise companies and the assumption and assignment of franchise agreements in bankruptcy proceedings.
Glenn is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Eleventh and Third Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. He earned his juris doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1992, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Advocacy. He received his bachelor of arts in psychology, with honors, from the University of Massachusetts in 1989, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
