Rose M. Perdomo focuses her practice on franchise transactional matters with an emphasis on franchise disclosure. She provides counsel to franchisees and franchisors on various complex matters, including structuring the franchise relationship, federal and state franchisor disclosure registration and disclosure issues. She has represented both established franchisors with multi-unit operators domestically and abroad as well as start-up franchisors in diverse industries.
Prior joining the firm, Perdomo was the senior director, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance & SCM at Burger King Corporation. She was a member of the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Region leadership team, actively participating in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to ensure brand protection, product research and development, supply chain management and regulatory compliance for all food and packaging products produced and exported across Latin America. Before that, she was the senior attorney responsible for global and domestic legal matters related to product/equipment research and development, quality assurance, operations, supply chain management, patent portfolio, crisis management and franchise disclosure documents for Burger King Corporation as well. In that capacity, Perdomo was instrumental in completing the initial public offering of Burger King Corporation.
Perdomo is a member of the American Bar Association, the National Association of Professional Women, and the Dade County Bar Association. She was also a founding member and board member of the Women’s Leadership Forum at Burger King Corporation, where she mentored employees on personal and professional development. She was also a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami-Dade and has assisted with numerous Habitat for Humanity projects.
Perdomo is a member of The Florida Bar. She received her juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000 and her bachelor of arts from Florida International University, cum laude, in 1997.
